Need prayers here. We want/need to be in the next travel group. I know many of my friends have said don't get yourself worked up about it otherwise you're going to be dissappointed if you're not in the next group. But I'm just doing that positive, manifesting thing, or as I call it the power of prayer! I am going to make it happen. I'm finishing my packing and shopping. I'm organizing everything on the home front and work. We're taking a short touristy trip with the kids before we go. Our agency is saying there are 12 waiting to travel and there will probably be 2 travel groups in June. We're in the first one, remember?!!! Anyway, the rumor is the first one may be around June 8-10th and the 2nd one around June 22-25th. My sister can't go if it's the second group and she's REALLY looking forward to the trip. She's flying out to help me and for the flight home after hubby leaves. I also have a friend on back up in case she can't go. Our agency is saying they should know something this Thursday. So come on all of you that have the power to make it happen! We want to be in the first group! Our girl is waiting, we're ready, the timing is right, we deserve for this to happen now! I keep thinking of my 4 yr old singing her preschool song, "god is good, god is good, he's so good, god is good!" With her sing-songy voice. She LOVES to sing and has the cutest singing voice which of course I encourage and tell her how great it is because I'm hoping she'll live out my dream I had when I was her age.......to be a singer when I grew up! Seriously I was meant to be Mariah Carey! Except something got messed up along the way and my voice didn't develop like hers so all I did was a few embarising recitals and choir. My dear friend since 3 yrs old, Debbie and I used to sing our hearts out at those talent shows and church. We marched around my Mom's dining room table with our black and white go-go boots to the tune of, "These boots are made for walking", yeah baby and that's just what they do! We thought we were so cool! And my Aunties tell stories all the time of my Niece and I (she's 1 yr older than I) dancing to The Captain and ?? "You better shop around". We had a different version of it though. We thought it meant going to the store and shopping instead of shopping around for men! Sooooo just maybe my daughter will become what I was meant to become.... a singer! I must enroll her in piano and singing lessons now!
